David Gethers
David Gethers, is president and partner at Simplistic Solutions, a firm specializing in 3D laser scanning, reality capture and building information modeling (BIM). He draws on decades of experience in civil, heavy highway, infrastructure and marine construction.
He began in the field as a superintendent, specializing in demolition and construction. Throughout his career, he has led project management, estimating and field operations in complex, high-stakes environments with multimillion-dollar builds that come with challenging logistics. His work is guided by principles of accuracy, long-term growth and
practical, sustainable solutions, all while delivering clarity to the client.
As President of Simplistic Solutions, he directs 3D reality capture and scan-to-BIM modeling along with Faro rental services. The team registers point clouds with FARO Scene software and delivers BIM-ready models and point clouds measured, which can come within 1 millimeter, documented with an accuracy report from certified FARO Laser Scanning Professionals. He is known for his client-centered approach while being disciplined with the execution of every aspect of the project. Ultimately, this provides clients with faster, more accurate data and helps drive success for not only the customer but all stakeholders involved. From idea to delivery, he ensures a quality, on-time and on-budget deliverable, the first time.

This position involves the hands-on work of operating the Faro Focus laser scanners on-site. Responsibilities would include setting up the equipment, performing the scans, and ensuring data is captured with the required +/- 1mm accuracy.
Michael Thompson
Data Processing Specialist
This role is focused on the post-processing of data. The specialist would take the raw point cloud data and convert it into usable 3D models or comprehensive BIM models for clients. Expertise in software like Revit, AutoCAD, and other modeling platforms would be essential.

Project Manager
With over 15 years of experience as a project manager, Sarah oversees client timelines, coordinate the scanning and modeling teams, and ensure deliverables are on time and within scope.
