FARO Laser Scanning for Industrial Piping Documentation

Simplistic Solutions completed a high-precision FARO laser scanning and as-built 3D modeling project for a complex industrial piping system. The project included field data capture, point cloud processing, and the delivery of an accurate digital representation of existing site conditions.

The final deliverable provides the customer with a reliable visual and spatial reference of the piping environment and is now available as part of our public project showcase.


Project Overview

This project focused on capturing and documenting a dense industrial piping system using FARO 3D laser scanning technology. The environment included interconnected pipe runs, fittings, supports, and surrounding structural elements that required accurate spatial documentation.

Our team used FARO laser scanners to capture real-world conditions and convert the scan data into a structured digital deliverable for documentation, review, and future planning.
